To Fix Google Form Not Accepting Responses
1. *Toggle the Acceptance Switch:*
Open your form in **Google Forms**.
Click on the *Responses* tab at the top.
Find the toggle labeled *"Accepting responses."*
If it is off (red), click it to turn it back on (purple/blue).
2. *Check the Response Limit:*
If you are using an add-on (like FormLimiter), check its settings. It may have automatically closed the form because a specific date was reached or a maximum number of entries was hit.
3. *Verify Google Drive Storage:*
If your *Google Drive* (or your organization's Workspace) is full, the form will stop accepting responses because there is no space to store the data. Delete old files or upgrade storage if necessary.
4. *Check for Restricted Access:*
Go to the *Settings* tab.
Click the arrow next to **Responses**.
Check if *"Restrict to users in [Your Organization]"* is enabled. If someone outside your company tries to access it, it may appear closed to them.
5. *Test the Link:*
Ensure you are sharing the *"Send"* link (the one that starts with `docs.google.com/forms/.../viewform`) and not the *editing* link from your browser's address bar.
Important Notes
*Permissions:* Only the form owner or a collaborator with "Editor" access can toggle the "Accepting responses" switch.
*File Uploads:* If your form has a "File Upload" question and your Drive is full, the form will automatically stop accepting responses until space is cleared.
