How to Remove a Plugin from WordPress Using cPanel

Sometimes plugins don't play well together. Or, perhaps you have an incorrect setting that causes your WordPress website to stop functioning correctly. In either case, you can use cPanel to remove the plugin, which often fixes most of these problems.
You can also use programs such as File Zilla or Cyberduck to access the folders and delete bad plugins from WordPress. But in this video, I only focus on using cPanel and File Manager as this is the quickest and easiest method to remove the plugin as well as make other minor adjustments.
As I point out in this video, you may want to consider having a backup on hand. Although backup plugins are useful in many circumstances, this is not one of them. If something breaks WordPress, you can't use the plugin to initiate a restore. In this case, you'd use a backup provided by your web host or by using one you create yourself using FTP programs and exporting the database.
Of course, this is only helpful if you create routine, non-WordPress-plugin backups. Otherwise, you might have an extremely old copy that will be missing your most recent additions, including the content you create.
