Lowered Weapons is an animation mod that makes your character lower their weapons when not firing. It's a nice little immersion mod.

Before you can mod Fallout 4 you need to change 2 files.
If you check Start - Documents - My Games - Fallout4
Open Fallout4Prefs.ini with a text editor and ADD:
bEnableFileSelection=1
to the 'Launcher' section.
Open Fallout4.ini with a text editor and CHANGE:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
to
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
