Steps to configure:

Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#hostname shiv
shiv(config)#interface f0/0
shiv(config-if)#ip add 10.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
shiv(config-if)#no shutdown
shiv(config-if)#exit

shiv(config)#ip dhcp pool shivbks
shiv(dhcp-config)#network 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0
shiv(dhcp-config)#default-router 10.0.0.1
shiv(dhcp-config)#dns-server 10.0.0.1
shiv(dhcp-config)#exit
shiv(config)#ip dhcp excluded-address 10.0.0.1 10.0.0.10
shiv(config)#end
