Ingleses is approximately 5km long and is one of the most popular beaches during the summer season. I usually say that Ingleses beach in Florianópolis has three beaches in one: the north end, the south end, and the middle of the beach.

Ingleses has excellent infrastructure for lodging, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and bars.
With a population of almost one hundred thousand inhabitants, Ingleses beach is also a major job creator.
