It's like 3D Printing in Cast Iron, but it's metal melting
In this video, I made a cast iron Benchy which is a boat that you can 3D print to check how well your printer prints.
It's a very popular model to print.
First, I printed the Benchy using PLA. Then, I made a silicon carbide mold. The mold was frozen and then cured in the microwave. After that, it was transferred to my microwave kiln and burned out.
I melted a few pieces of cast iron in my microwave to cast the #3DBenchy. I also made a sand island for the Benchy, as well as water, by melting some bottle glass in my microwave kiln
