Surface Pro 4 i7 vs Surface Book Gaming Benchmarks (When HyperCooled)
The long awaited comparison between the SurfaceBook and the Core i7 Surface Pro 4 is here.
We compare several games and see how they stack up when the Core i7 is released from its throttling.
All game settings were the same and all game benchmarks were run at 1080P.
Keep in mind that we are taking advantage of extra cooling for the i7 (which will throttle substantially otherwise). So yes, this may not be a fair comparison, because the SP4 i7 needs extra cooling to pull off this level of performance. But on the other hand this is a best case scenario for both devices, and anyone can relatively easily pull this off by pointing a small fan at the back of their SP4.
