NOTES ON INSTALLING FLUTTER:
For editing, you need the Flutter SDK and an editor
The Flutter SDK is the program files and they can be downloaded through the link provided on the installation page. The editor is what you will use to write and edit your code.
Editors compatible with Flutter are:
1. Android Studio / IntelliJ
2. Visual Studio Code
3. Emacs
To run your code you need an emulator.
Emulators compatible with Flutter are:
1. Android studio
2. Xcode
In this workshop, we will be using Visual Studio Code as our editor and Android studio as the emulator. For those who use other editors or emulators, we can try to provide help if you run into issues, but our abilities will be limited. If you have any questions on the installation process, feel free to ask us in the Resources channel of our Discord server.
