Excel: CSV with Zeros in Decimal Place not Showing up or Hidden From View
Excel is not showing zeros in decimal places from a CSV file. If you are opening a CSV file in Excel you might want to see the data inside the CSV in Excel without any of the reformatting that Excel does by default.
This is an issue I found while working on a software program that was not reading CSV files correctly. The issue is that if you view your CSV in Excel it may not be a one to one of what is actually inside the CSV file. Which can make you wonder why your software is breaking. Especially if your trying to parse out a CSV file, not knowing there are 100 zeros in the source file.
I show you an easy fix to make the Zeros show up in Excel when you open up a CSV file. We will import a CSV and transform the data the correct way.
