World Milk Day on June 1 serves to remind us of the importance of milk as global food, and to celebrate the dairy sector. Communities around the world celebrate this special day ever since the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations established it in 2001. To mark the occasion, we’ve collected “dairy moments” from our colleagues to raise awareness on the importance of quality milk, which currently supports the livelihoods of one billion people.
