The year is 2012. Six years have passed since the Second Disaster, which eclipsed the events of April 1986.
The game takes place in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, which has transformed from a place where destinies were shattered into a threat to all humanity. The Zone reluctantly reveals its secrets, and only a rare hero can reach its very heart and discover what danger awaits them there.
A danger that, compared to marauders and enemy groups, all the monsters and anomalies of the Zone, will seem like mere preparation for an encounter with something more fatal and terrifying.
For now... Get ready, hero. Collect artifacts and trade, explore the road and check your rear, grab X-rays and fight—but survive! And then, perhaps, if you are persistent and especially lucky, you will find out why all this fell upon you.
