Crysis 1 Mods Cryhunter 3 Walkthrough #2 Chapter 2 Part 2 Entering the Mine
We're playing through and reminiscing about a unique mod for Crysis called .Cryhunter 3. We're finishing chapter 2 (I split the video into two, this is the second part; also because I downloaded it from a German website and it wasn't available anywhere else at the time) about the adventures of Lawrence
Barnes long before the events of the original Crysis (I've played through it before, but the quality was so-so, and now it's not just 1080P but 60 FPS. I should probably start recording in 2K or 4K, maybe someday, but not this mod.)
Description
The action takes place exactly six years before the alien invasion, when Major Barnes is called back from vacation. He is said to be one of the first to test the Nanosuit prototype on enemy soil. This came at just the right moment, as protesters in southern North Korea voiced their discontent over a suspected nuclear bunker. Thus, the massacre in Kyong continues as usual.
Barnes's task is to infiltrate the silo and capture as much video footage as possible. This will help him gather enough evidence to take action against the country.
However, the nanosuit isn't yet working as it should. Due to the upgrade and the majority of Koreans, the nanosuit constantly malfunctions on first use.
Furthermore, the C17 must avoid a thunderstorm, so it is blown off course and captured by the North Koreans. Fortunately, former CIA agent Caroline Chang is on board. She knows how to defend herself.
After freeing the pilots, they hide near the C17, which was scheduled to be delivered to Pyongyang late that evening. Unfortunately, a rapidly growing thunderstorm trapped the pilots, who were supposed to wait for Barnes until he finished, in the mine, forcing C17 to depart earlier than planned.
When Barnes arrived at the mine, he discovered a nuclear bomb inside the bunker. While reprogramming it, Barnes discovered a gate, which, in turn, indicated an extraterrestrial origin. For some reason, the Korean scientists had been unable to open it. However, a malfunction in the nanosuit released energy and opened the gate.
As Barnes walked through the underground dungeon, his suit unknowingly activated more and more of the system. He was tormented by constant visions of the future.
At the end of the trip, and no longer quite at his destination, Kion ordered Ko (unaware that Barnes had passed through the gate) to spare him and erase his memory in order to learn about the nanosuit. He also gave the order to blow up the entire bunker after the atomic bomb malfunctioned.
Because the nanosuit seemed more valuable than the atomic bomb.
Because the Americans shouldn't notice, or they shouldn't have a second chance to smell themselves again.
Meanwhile, in the Azari system, 6.2 million light-years away, the catastrophe continues.
