I know a lot of you loved this, me included as it was my first ever cross over and I bloody adore this couple. I was so pissed off to see it get deleted. Im currently in the process of trying to make a new one :)
Basic plot:
Edward and Effy's curiosity about one another slowly leads to an attraction. Edward is attracted both to her blood, and to Effy as a person. He knows what he is doing is wrong and incredibly dangerous, but their attraction cannot be denied.
One night, they succumb to their desires for each other and share a night of passion. Afterwards however, Edward realises just how much danger he put Effy in by doing so, and decides he cannot risk losing her on his own accord. He decides to leave her, to keep her safe and away from his harm.
Effy is devastated and spirals through months of depression. After Edward left her she has been void of any emotion what so ever, and has been merely existing. She decides she wants to feel something, just one more time.
She takes the partying route to take her mind off of everything. Whilst at one of the parties, she takes a drug overdose and falls and cracks her head on the floor, rendering her unconcious. Tony is in desparate need of help, and calls the only person he can turn to to save Effy fast enough, Edward.
Edward rushes to the scene with Carlisle to help. Carlisle inspects her wound and her state from the drug overdose, and tells Edward that she only has minutes left to live. Either Edward bites her and turns her into one of their own, or he has to let her die. Edward, in a complete sense of despair at the situation, flashbacks to all the memories he has of him and Effy, and decides that he is too in love with her to let her go. He caused what has happened through leaving her, and he has to put it right in the only way available to him. His only choice is to change her, making her an immortal, a vampire for eternity.
