K2. Rotational Dynamics
We introduce rotational dynamics defining torque, angular momentum, and rotational inertia, which is also called the moment of inertia. Strictly speaking, the torque is a definition. When we incorporate Newton's Second Law for the force, we introduce the physics. We derive the formulas for angular momentum and rotational inertia from the physics.
