You can add as much as you can just search the required files on internet.
Here I have mentioned one website which I have used to download resources which I have used in y projects.

There are many more you can find this is just an example
Next step is to copy paste those files in your installation directory
To do that follow the following path
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2020\Presets\en_US
From here select the folder in which you want to paste the files.
For example color gradient and patterns files are in the swatches folders
Symbols files in the symbol folders and brushes files in the brushes folders.
This will add these files permanently in your adobe illustrator and whenever you open or se illustrator these will be there for use.
