Shaula Vega Selected Scenes
Shaula attended The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute of Los Angeles and has worked extensively in theater, television and film in her native Mexico as well as in Los Angeles and New York. Her film debut came in the film "Original Sin" with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie. She currently stars in the family film "Canela" sharing the screen with veteran actress Ana Martin as well as an amazing supproting cast, premiering spring 2012. She guest starred in the play "The Good Canary" Directed by John Malkovich, sharing the stage with Diego Luna, Irene Azuela and Daniel Jimenez Cacho as Sylvia. Her film "No eres tu soy yo" (2010) Warner Brothers release where she guest starred with Eugenio Derbez and Martina Garcia, has broken box office records in her native Mexico as well as the international latin film market. Also starred in the breakthrough web novela "Vidas Cruzadas" (2009 Univision) sharing the screen with Kate del Castillo and Guy Ecker, breaking web records reaching over 3 million viewers. She starred with Kate del Castillo and Eduardo Palomo on the television series "Ramona" as the evil Manuela. She co-starred with Eugenio Derbez in the musical hit "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (Mexico 2008) that played at the prestigious Teatro de los Insurgentes in Mexico City where she played Heiress Jolene Oakley. She Co-hosted the hit television show "WAX" (2009) as well as a popular dating gameshow on Canal 22 L.A. "Emparejate" which became the highest rated Spanish television show in it's 3 season run.
Shaula estudio actuación en The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute de Los Angeles y ha trabajado en teatro cine y televisión tanto en Mexico como en Estados Unidos. Su debut de cine lo hizo al lado de Antonio Banderas y Angelina Jolie en la película ¨ORIGINAL SIN¨. Recientemente termino la filmación de la película ¨CANELA¨ al lado de Ana Martin y Gabriela Canudas. Y la película de horror ¨EL EDIFICIO¨ al lado de Alejandra Ambrosi. Participo como actriz invitada en la obra ¨EL BUEN CANARIO¨ dirigida por John Malkovich en el papel de Sylvia al lado de Irene Azuela, Diego Luna y Daniel Jimenez Cacho. ¨No eres tu soy yo¨ donde hizo una actuación especial a l lado del actor Mexicano Eugenio Derbez, rompió records de taquilla en México así como también en el mercado de cine latino internacional.
Participo al lado de Guy Ecker y Kate del Castillo en la web novela, ¨VIDAS CRUZADAS¨ que rompió records de vistas por internet alcanzando a mas de 3 millones de visitas por episodio. Una vez mas en el papel antagónico como Manuela, compartió la pantalla con Kate del Castillo y Eduardo Palomo en telenovela ¨RAMONA¨
Participo en la obra musical ¨UNA EVA Y DOS PATANES¨ al lado de Eugenio Derbez en el Teatro de los Insurgentes, donde actuo, bailó y cantó en el papel de Jolene Oakley.
