I'm going to share with you what smog tech from California taught me many years ago. Setting a "Cat" for the catalyst monitor can be very tricky. I will show you how I set the catalyst monitor on older vehicles with high miles and share some tricks along the way. This video focuses on vehicles that are not driven daily, not driven at high speeds, or have some sort of oil consumption issue, This method does not require any products or need to replace any parts if the catalyst is the only part that is below efficiency.
