Another site and more junipers that haven't been touched by human hands—I mean, of course, the ones that have been pruned. The Stricta junipers on this site are at least 10 years old. During this time, they have never been pruned or treated, which is why they have such a bushy shape, with all the side shoots rushing to the leaders, resulting in a bush that is falling apart and has no clear border. The owners of these plants want to see neat cones or pyramids in front of the windows of their house; they were warned that after the first pruning the plants would not look very good, but they agreed to it anyway. They were also offered the option of trimming these junipers into a hedge, but they refused. That's why the plants that came out were a bit uneven and had holes, but this is a temporary phenomenon and I hope that next year these junipers will look much better.
