KIA RIO 3 headlight replacement and partial bumper removal
To replace a headlight on a KIA RIO 3, remember to disconnect the battery terminal first.
Next, you need to remove the bumper. It's attached:
1 x 10mm bolt is located under the wheel arch.
2 clips underneath the wheel arch connect the bumper and fender liner. Unscrew with a crescent screwdriver.
4 x 10mm bolts under the hood.
The side fastener between the bumper and fender can be removed by rocking it (just remember to apply masking tape to avoid scratching the paint).
The headlight is attached with 3 bolts. They are located:
two under the hood and one on the fender under the bumper.
Pull the connector off the headlight and you can install the new one.
I bought the headlight from a genuine auto dismantler.
