How the FCCG is Reaching Younger Problem Gamblers Now and Considerations for the Future
On March 10, 2023, during Problem Gambling Awareness Month, Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) Executive Director Jennifer Kruse presented to the Florida Gaming Control Commission about the programs and services FCCG provides throughout Florida.
Commissioner John D’Aquila asks about what the FCCG is doing to reach younger problem gamblers electronically. Kruse explains the FCCG's online outreach including programmatic advertising and the Council's social media presence while also addressing challenges within the current construct of its contract and considerations for the future, to address a rise in younger gamblers.
