On 21 November 2022. I shipped two identical boxes, at the same time, From Indianapolis, to the same recipient in Georgia with #FedEx Ground. One original box made it, 30 days later on 21 Dec 2022 , the other items didn't make it in it's original box, and one of the two items is missing. Both boxes were brand new, plain brown boxes with NO markings, logo's, company names or old shipping labels on them. Both box dimensions were 20X16X8. Red and white 'Fragile' stickers were placed on 4 or 5 sides of the boxes. The boxes were taped closed with hot water activated, reinforced brown paper tape. NOT clear plastic tape as you see in this video.
On 10 Dec 2022 at 2:21 am, the shipping label on this box had to be replaced because it was damaged. The label was printed at the Braselton #FedEx Ground location. The cylinders were wrapped 3 times in large bubble wrap and the bottom, sides, and top of the box was lined with additional layers of bubble wrap, filling in any dead spaces.
#FedEX uses a call center overseas and it is very difficult to understand what they are saying. I HAVE GOT NO WHERE WITH #FedEx TRYING TO FILE INSURANCE CLAIMS! #FedEx gives me the run-around and tells me something different each and every time I call them. They need more information, your claim will be paid, we closed the claim, We denied your claim, we are paying your claim. Every single time it's nothing but apologies and a run-around. As of 8 Feb 2023, I have called them exactly 20 times trying to settle this insurance claim with #FedEx. This is from an email that #FedEx sent me.
"Hello FedEx Customer, FedEx values your business. We have received and processed your claim request on the shipment referenced above. Unfortunately, upon completing our investigation, we must respectfully decline your claim. We have found no evidence that the shipment was mishandled while in our possession."
At this time #FedEx had NOT even returned to pick up or even look at the damage. Does #FedEx think I would ship a box in this condition? Would a #FedEx driver even pick up a box this badly damaged? WHAT KIND OF INVETIGATION IS THAT!
This is nothing but #FRAUD! #Fedex Ground assured me that someone would pick up the packages on 25 Jan 2023. The driver showed up and refused to pick up the packages. After another call, they returned on 1 Feb 2023 and picked them up. #FedEx shipped the packages back to me. And I received them on 10 Feb 2023. The label says "RETURNED REASON DAMAGED." Okay #FedEx, it's time you reimburse me for my loss!!! I paid to have these packages insured while they were in your custody! You kicked them round for 30 days, when they should have been delivered in 3. This is NOT how I would expect to see a World Wide package delivery company operate. I am totally disgusted with #FedEx's services and the way they treat their customers. #FedEx does not demonstrate the professionalism or integrity to serve a World Wide customer base. I will never trust them to ship another item for me. Go to Google and look up Braselton, GA #FedEx Ground. They have a 1.5 Star rating. I have never seen a business with that low of a rating. Read some of the customer reviews. It's shocking that the #FTC #FederalTradeCommission or the #GeorgiaAttorneyGeneral hasn't put hammer down on them yet. #FedEx is paid to do a job. That job is to take custody of your valuables and make sure they make to their destination, in a timely manner, and NOT destroyed!
