1983 America's Junior Miss pageant
From Mobile, Alabama, Michael Landon emcees this pageant to crown one of America's most beautiful, talented, and charming teens. Unlike the more familiar Miss Teen USA which launched that same year, this pageant featured more of an emphasis on poise, achievement, fitness, and talent as opposed to the fashion and beauty present in other pageants.
