Vineet Ganju discusses Resonate, Synaptics' latest audio technology that uses the mobile phone's display to generate audio for a more immersive user experience. This also removes the need for traditional audio drivers and associated circuitry, thereby freeing up space while also enabling higher quality audio, at one-third the power consumption, and with fewer openings around the enclosure to minimize moisture and dust ingress.
