Take heart - For He overcame the world
He brought us peace - and he gave us grace
He came against the rulers of the darkness
With eternal life - death He did replace
So take heart - He heals the brokenhearted
The crushed in spirit - He will save
Brought back to life - raised from the dead
Establishing the fact - there aint no grave
He is with you In your hurting
He is with you in your sorrow
Forever never changing
Yesterday today & tomorrow
Take heart - all will be revealed
In the Holy Spirit - we are sealed
He brings us out - from the darkness
And by His wounds - we are healed
Take heart - His power is so much greater
Than all of the evil in this world
The value of His love is so much more
Than all of the gold and silver in the world
Take heart - do not be afraid
He is here - You can rest assured
Take heart - do not be dismayed
We are safe in the covering of the Lord
