About the branch of M. I. Kazi.
Mikhail Ilyich Kazi (11.10.1839 - 24.06.1896) - organizer of shipbuilding, public figure, director of the naval department, captain of the 2nd rank. Studied at the Black Sea Cadet School in Nikolaev. He served in the Black Sea Fleet, in 1858 he was promoted to midshipman. In 1868 he retired with the rank of captain-lieutenant. In the same year he headed the Odessa Shipbuilding Plant ROPiT. In 1874 he was elected mayor of Sevastopol. In 1877-1892, M. I. Kazi managed the Baltic Shipyard in St. Petersburg. In 1896, Kazi became one of the organizers of the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod. Mikhail Ilyich Kazi died in Nizhny Novgorod at this exhibition on June 24, 1896 and was buried in the city of St. Petersburg, at the Nikolskoye Cemetery of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

Children: Mikhail Mikhailovich Kazi (14.05.1867 - 16.10.1891) - a student at the Imperial St. Petersburg University. Single.
Ksenia Mikhailovna Kazi (14.10.1870 - 1886).
Anna Mikhailovna Kazi (Pats-Pomarnatskaya) (04.05.1872 - 06.01.1942). Died of starvation in besieged Leningrad in 1942.
