What does Agora mean? 🤔
In ancient Greek cities, an agora was an open space serving as an assembly area and a place for commercial, civic, social, and religious activities, becoming an important marketplace of ideas, creativity, discovery, and interaction
The use of the agora varied in different periods. Located in the middle of the city or near the harbour, it was often enclosed by public buildings, covered areas containing shops, and stores for protection from the sun and bad weather.
What are the Agora Sessions? 💡
The Agora Sessions offer a sociable and collaborative alternative to traditional classroom-based learning through workshops and webinars. It aims to foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within Athyna while encouraging teamwork, professional development, and good times.
We chose the name Agora because of Athyna’s Greek roots, and because it’s meant to bring people together for a common interest.
