SoundSwitch Tutorials - Static looks and how to use them
In this tutorial, we’ll talk about Static Looks in SoundSwitch: what they are, how they work, and how powerful they can be during a live performance.
Static Looks can help you take more control over your lighting show by allowing you to create custom effects for specific fixtures or groups of lights. Instead of affecting your entire setup, you can decide exactly which lights react and how they behave.
In this video, we’ll cover examples like:
Strobe Effects – create custom strobe looks for movers, PAR lights, or selected fixtures.
Color Looks – prepare mixed or grouped colors for faster access in Performance Mode.
Blackouts – create custom blackouts for individual fixtures or groups of lights.
Mover Positions – send your moving heads to custom positions and combine them with gobos, prisms, and prism rotation.
Static Looks can be used in Toggle Mode or Press Mode, giving you more flexibility and faster control while performing.
