In April 2021, Ireland will resume its alternate seat on the Executive Board of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and has pledged €12.5m in core support to IFAD’s programming to 2024. Join Michelle Winthrop (Policy Director, Development Cooperation and Africa Division, Department of Foreign Affairs) and Leon Williams (Senior Partnership Officer, IFAD) for a briefing on IFAD’s new strategic direction, and Ireland’s priorities and future partnership with IFAD, including climate change adaptation, inclusivity and sustainable food systems.
