Well... Pyromancy. The age old craft that originated from the Great Swamp. To be an ample Pyromancer, you need to learn the tomes that are littered throughout the game, and in order to learn them, you need someone that can teach you them. Cornyx of the Great Swamp is the one that can teach you.
To start his quest, make your way to the Cliff Underside Bonfire, and proceed forward across the roof area until you meet him in his cage. Exhaust his dialogue here and he will warp to Firelink Shrine.
Speak with him in Firelink Shrine and he will give you a Pyromancy Glove. Speak with him again after reloading the area, and he will give you the "Welcome".
At this point you need to acquire 3 Pyromancy Tomes:
Great Swamp Pyromancy Tome -
Located in the Crucifixion Woods. From the Crucifixion Woods Bonfire, head towards Farron Keep, but before going up the stairs where the two exiled soldiers are, turn right and hug the wall until you meet a corpse with the tome on it. Loot the corpse to get the "Great Swamp Pyromancy Tome" and the "Conjurator Set".
Carthus Pyromancy Tome -
From the Abyss Watchers Bonfire, head towards the catacombs until you meet a bridge with a Carthus Swordsman on it. In the middle of the bridge, if you see a ledge to the left, jump down to the ledge and the corpse will be beyond the passage way at the end of the hall. You can also access this area via an illusory wall. Proceed past the bridge and head down the stairs until you meet the room with a kukri-throwing skeleton. immediately after entering the room, turn right and walk straight and hit the wall that is illusory, walk forward then right to find the tome.
Izalith Pyromancy Tome -
From the Old Kings Ante Chamber Bonfire in the Smouldering Lake, go into the passage that is closest to the bonfire, proceed forth and you will find the tome on a corpse in front of a giant Demon Cleric statue.
Now that you have all the Pyromancy Tomes that Cornyx can teach you, bring them back to him and learn new Pyromancys.
To acquire Cornyx's set, summon Great Swamp Cuculus for the Old Demon King boss fight, and have her live throughout the fight. After that, go to the spot where you first met Cornyx in the Undead Settlement and Cornyx's set, and the Spotted Whip, is on a corpse sitting right in front of his cage. Alternatively, you can kill him, and once he is dead, you can buy his set off the Handmaid in Firelink.
