Limitation of mAadhaar | Why mAadhaar will NOT WORK !!!
In this video we will see some key limitation of mAadhaar. The app does have good features as we found out in an earlier video but it has its shares of shortcomings. I have listed 7 limitations about mAadhaar just like i had listed 7 advantages in the other video.
For now let us see what are some of the limitations or not so good features of mAadhaar app:
1. You will need your mobile number registered with Aadhaar to install and use mAadhaar. You cannot use any other mobile number or any other means to install this app. Usually this registered mobile number is the one which you might have submitted during the Aadhaar enrolment or would have updated later on. But without that registered number this app is of no use.
2. Smartphone in which you are trying to install the mAadhaar app needs to have the same mobile number which is registered with Aadhaar. So if you are trying to install mAadhaar app in one of your mobile and you have the registered phone number in another mobile, then this will not work. This is because an SMS OTP is used to verify the installation.
3. Password requirements for the app are pretty stringent - it requires a minimum of eight characters, with at least one uppercase capital letter, one special character, and one number. This kind of stringent password requirements often leads to thousands of people sharing bad passwords like Password@123.
4. There is no “Forgot Password” option to reset the password. You may have to re-install the app if you forget your mAadhaar password.
