👓 Pinhole glasses, or training glasses, are an interesting ophthalmological device. Many people don't know what they're used for.

They're not a therapeutic tool or a diagnostic method!

❓What are training glasses?

Perforated glasses, or training glasses (also known as honeycomb, diffractive, slit, pinhole, or perforated glasses), differ from regular glasses in that they lack the familiar clear lenses. They're made of black or brown plastic with small, approximately millimeter-sized holes—perforations.

❓How do they work?

Diffractive glasses work by viewing objects through rows of small holes arranged in a honeycomb pattern. The area of light scattered on the retina becomes smaller. Contrast and sharpness, on the other hand, increase, while strain on the eye is significantly reduced.

👓👉🏻✔️ Dark glasses with pinholes effectively relieve eye strain and redistribute the load on the eye muscles, thereby improving vision.
