Case Study of Multitemporal Wetland Mapping Using Object Based SAR Image Analysis
To the uninitiated, image classification of synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) imagery can be challenging. New object-based image analysis technology developed by PCI Geomatics makes it possible to work with SAR imagery and easily extract information. The case study demonstrates how to use Object Analyst to process fully polarimetric datasets collected over Lac Saint Pierre, Québec to extract land-use and land-cover classes.
