Joyann Parker plays "Faintly Optimistic" in The Current studio for Radio Heartland
Wisconsin-originated and classically trained musician Joyann Parker came to the blues, jazz and gospel music later in life, but she celebrates it with gusto on her new album, "Roots," produced by Kevin Bowe.
Parker and her band visited The Current studio to play songs from the new album in a session hosted by Radio Heartland’s Mike Pengra. Here's a look at their performance of "Faintly Optimistic."
