Cryptic One - FULL VIDEO - Beatmaking tips with AudioCipher, Ripchord and Serato Sample
We're joined by Cryptic One (@cryp_uno) of Atoms Family and Pirata, exploring the way AudioCipher can be coupled with Ripchord and Serato Sample to generate interesting new chord progressions.
The first chord progression from this song was generated by AudioCipher, using the word "Solo Piano" in the key of G# minor. The warm piano tone comes from Addictive Keys. Instead of trying to choose the chords using music theory, Cryptic used Ripchord to trigger existing chord voicings. From there, he was able to focus on developing his drums and bass.
