What is high resolution?

In terms of satellite data, resolution often refers to spatial resolution or the size of the pixel on the ground.

For SkyWatch's EarthCache, high resolution refers to an image whose resolution range is between 0.5 metres (or 50 centimetres) and 1.5 metres (or 150 centimetres).
