This is my favorite expedition backpack – the Manaraga PAMIR-100. Unfortunately, this model is no longer in production, and instead of this worthy example of a backpack, Manaraga is making potato sacks with straps, just like in the good old days. It's for this reason that I now buy backpacks from other manufacturers.
When you're looking for a good backpack, after a while you begin to realize that the choice is so vast, and the self-aggrandizement of manufacturers and brands so intense, that it makes a normal person nauseous. But there are those who have carried their backpacks on their shoulders for hundreds of kilometers, and the hours spent fused with their backpack have become an endless stream of time. These people aren't paid for advertising, and this isn't the first puppy joy they've experienced from buying a new toy. So, everything is fair here.
I bought this backpack in 2014 when I was heading to Kuznetsky. Alatau" for a couple of weeks of adventure. Looking ahead, I'll say – this is the best backpack my back has ever endured, and there are many reasons for that.
