What makes the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon different from a regular Wrangler?

Raul takes you through a complete walkaround of this body-color 2026 Rubicon at Payne Edinburg CDJR, covering its exterior design, passenger space, removable roof, technology, warranty coverage, and the off-road equipment that makes the Rubicon one of the most recognizable 4x4 vehicles available.

In this video, you’ll see:

Body-color fender flares and Freedom Top® hardtop
Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille
LED exterior lighting
Red Rubicon tow hooks
17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires
Four-door passenger and cargo space
Built-in rear-seat power connections
Rear-mounted spare tire and backup camera
Removable cargo-floor panel
12.3-inch Uconnect® 5 touchscreen
Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
Dual-zone climate controls
Front and rear axle-lock controls
Off-Road+
Electronic sway-bar disconnect
Off-Road Pages and vehicle information
Adaptive Cruise Control
Removable Freedom Top roof panels
Jeep limited-warranty coverage

The Rubicon is more than a Wrangler with different wheels and red tow hooks.

Its Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect is designed to improve suspension articulation on uneven terrain by allowing the front wheels to drop and compress farther. Available front and rear Tru-Lok® locking differentials help distribute torque for additional traction, while the Rock-Trac® 4x4 system uses a 4:1 low-range ratio for controlled low-speed off-road driving.

That is what Raul means when he says the Wrangler can “do the splits.”

The vehicle is not literally performing a split. The system gives the suspension more freedom to articulate so the tires can maintain better contact with uneven terrain.

The Rubicon also combines that capability with everyday features such as four-door access, rear-seat room, cargo space, smartphone connectivity, climate controls, available driver-assistance technology, and a removable roof.

All 2026 Wrangler models are Trail Rated®. Jeep says the Trail Rated designation evaluates five primary areas:

Traction
Water fording
Maneuverability
Articulation
Ground clearance

Inside, the 2026 Wrangler offers a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with Uconnect 5, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are included with the Uconnect system. Equipment can vary by trim, package, engine, and individual vehicle configuration.

The new-vehicle warranty discussed in this video includes a 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty and a 3-year/36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty. Coverage is limited by the written warranty terms and does not mean that every component, maintenance item, modification, or wear item is automatically covered.

Now we want your opinion:

Which Rubicon feature matters most to you?

Front and rear lockers
Electronic sway-bar disconnect
Rock-Trac 4x4
Removable roof
Trail Rated capability
Everyday passenger and cargo space

And would you choose the body-color hardtop shown here—or the traditional contrasting black top?
