The Mesquite ISD VATRE
The Mesquite ISD Board of Trustees has called a Voter Approval Tax Rate Election this fall. A Voter Approval Tax Rate Election, or VATRE, allows school districts to seek voter approval to maximize the impact of a proposed tax rate increase above the state’s minimum tax rate.
