3D fx Boids and Harmonics in Blender
Experiment with effects - like debris attracting to a phantom-like character and dissipating as its energy wanes. 25% rendered experiment, 75% me hitting the highlights.
Shockingly, this file Blender File is 107MB in size! Between Mixamo animations and particles, the baking required taxes my slower computer. Only disappointment is the particles gather near the object origin instead of truly hitting mesh points as advertised. meh - it was fun.
