Here it is, the v0.6b version.
It features a lot of changes, mainly:
Huawei packager executable embedded into the app;
you may import any image, no matter of their name, as long as they're PNG files;
theme folder creation, with all image files renamed accordingly;
images are now saved on the HFM save file, you can move and rename source files, they're no longer needed once imported;
Clone functionality, for any widget;
Circle widget working as expected, although "mask" functionality is still not showing (to preview the functionality). Edit: it is working, but on the video, it was at 1px width, which made it virtually invisible;
Auto generate and rename of all images;
Each widget now has only it's dedicated data types;
Guidelines (lines marking the absolute center);
Many, many other improvements and bug fixes.
All you have to do now is create the images in your favourite software and save them, with any name you want. Once you got all graphics ready, import them into the app. Take into special consideration the layer order, it's important when generating the XML and HWT.
Just choose a target parent folder to save the theme (in "Face Info" popup) and press the "HWT" button to export it.
All files will be automatically created on a folder with the theme's name. You just need the HWT to import to the watch, but the other files have to be created anyway.
Once created, the theme folder will auto open.
Just follow the video for further instructions.
Not working:
the preview icon... no matter what, it still shows on the watch as a corrupted image once imported;
TextAreaWithTwoWildcard, I still haven't figured out what I need to make this widget work with some data types. For example, I've tried DATA_HOUR - CONN_COLLON - DATA_MINUTE and it just displays a zero (0). On the other hand, any other data_type (like DATA_BATTERY) with any connector type (like CONN_PERCENT) and DATA NULL as data2_type works well. TextAreaWithOneWildcard works perfect though, and you can use it for just about anything TextAreaWithTwoWildcard related.
Comming up:
further improvement on the bluetooth connection, hopefully with pairing, especially on windows environment, to finally achieve HWT import without the health app;
Finally, a MacOS version;
Line widget working 100% with preview;
Image export;
Progress indicators. For now, once you make something, you have to wait for the outcome, there's no progress indicator.
Now that I've finally got a chinese user ID, I can finally use the beta app and test all the widgets by uploading the HWT.
Expect more improvements.
There are some bugs, but as I stated earlier, I'm on a deadline in two of my company's projects and I can't dedicate more time to this unfortunately.
I'm persistent and I'll keep updating this if you're interested, so expect more from Face Maker on the next releases.
Thank you for your interest, it means a lot.
