Amateur Oscilloscope Art
Hi guys,
Here are some moving pictures I captured on the screen of my scope.
I used my dual channel function generator and my recently repaired Tektronix 2215 scope. !No computer!...
You can do too if you have an analogue scope and a dual channel signal generator, of course.
Just hook the scope CH1 to FG CH1 and the scope CH2 to FG CH2 and start to play.
Function generator: try to combine the different waves, change the frequency and the amplitude.
Scope: "Add and both" channel vertical mode setup and use all the buttons and knobs to distort the signal.
Push the limits of your devices as much as you can.
Some of the scenes has sound (rather noise). I connected the scope's 2 channel to an old guitar amp's speaker so you can hear what you see. Probably as you've already heard they are mostly not pleasant only interesting so I turned the volume down for your sake.
I'm a strange person so I appreciate even the honest thumbs down too.
