CLARIFICATION: Ideally, you should connect the RED RCA connector with an adapter to the headphone output of the console. This way, you don't have to lower the volume of each channel or the master. We lower the headphone output volume to prevent the audio sent to the phone from clipping, without affecting the master mix.
