I tried to include a diverse rage of cool characters, but sadly what little nonbinary rep we have is often the 'skinny, white, androgynous' stereotype, so the video isn't as diverse as I wish it was! do lmk about other cool varied nonbinary rep :)
I used the queer flag for any character who shows canon attraction to a person/people of a single gender but has no confirmed label. using the sapphic or achillean (mlm) flag assumes the character would be cool identifying as such, and not all nbylw people ID as sapphic, nor do all nbylm people ID as achillean/mlm! 'Trixic' (nbylw) and 'toric' (nbylm) are the equivalent words, but the flags for those identities are barely known and weren't available on the site I used to create the borders, so I just used queer.
Cal Bowman doesn't specify they're bi, but they're openly attracted to men and women on-screen, and bi can also be used as an umbrella term, so since the terms and flags for mspec are lesser known, I just used the bi flag to signal they're bi+.
Angel José is specifically agender, but since they're the only agender character I know of (thus can't really make a whole agender video) and their voice actor/designer confirmed they ID as nonbinary too, I included them here with both flags. I didn't include characters who ID as things that do/can fall under the nonbinary umbrella (i.e. genderfluid) as most of these characters haven't identified themselves as nonbinary/said they're cool with that term.
I excluded a few shows based on boycotts/Zionists being involved, and left out Rose Noble from Doctor Who because her identity is fairly blurry and she's been described variously as nonbinary and as a trans girl. I also left out additional background characters from shows already featured (i.e. Layla from Sex Education, Pullstring and Merkid from Craig Of The Creek, Masha from The Owl House), as I wanted to just do one per show due to time and to keep it varied!
