Cockpit canopy opens in flight – pilot dies
On February 13, 2021, Bonne van den Bos took off for a sightseeing flight, intending to fly past his home in Kornhorn, Netherlands. After a 180-degree turn at low altitude, the cockpit canopy popped open. The 75-year-old was unable to handle the situation and crashed.
