Norland is a medieval kingdom simulator that generates complex stories and is inspired by Rimworld, Crusader Kings, and Caesar.
Norland — Manage a noble family that owns a city populated by dozens of characters from different classes: peasants, slaves, soldiers, and criminals. Each has needs and complex behavior based on psychology and social rituals. Often, this behavior can be deadly for your family.

Manage your noble family and assign tasks to its members.
Family members build complex relationships based on love, hate, friendship, envy, jealousy, betrayal, and the lust for power.
Punish criminals, ensure the happiness of citizens of all classes, and quell bloody riots.
Build defenses, raise armies, and wage war against neighboring kingdoms. Or forge alliances with them.
Control power struggles within the family, intrigue, and secretly assassinate dangerous enemies.
Make controversial decisions during events on the global map.
Absorb knowledge and technologies from books, rewrite them, or create new ones.
Build an economy, pay salaries, set prices on the domestic market, and trade with incoming caravans. Different starting conditions and unique family traits provide a unique gaming experience every session.

Norland — Complex World Stories Generation:
The game generates complex, new-level stories based on the unpredictable interaction of multiple game systems common to large societies, such as social conflicts, crime, rebellion, religious strife, and the struggle for the throne.
Each character is a unique individual:
They all have personal needs, religious beliefs, a health system, and a biography. Family members also have family traits passed down to their children, developing combat and social skills, and unique personality traits, both innate and acquired.
Family members build relationships:
They tend to make mocking jokes when drunk, gossip, curry favor with the ruler, slander enemies, insult, fall in love, have sex, be friends and spend time together, support each other, and sometimes even kill out of hatred.
Global Map:
Intrigue with other kingdoms and the church. Manage unforeseen events that require intervention: cultists, bandit blackmail, plague-infected refugees, natural disasters, succession wars, and much more.
Complex Economy:
Your soldiers and militia need to be paid, which means you'll have to develop the economy, pay workers, manage production chains, control domestic prices, and trade with caravans.
Plan Battles:
Seven types of weapons and three types of armor, combat skills, a body part damage system, the morale of each of your dozens of army members, and defensive structures make every battle truly spectacular.
Create Your Culture:
...to survive competition with other kingdoms and be fully prepared for the coming end of the world. Build an aggressive military order based on slave labor or a technologically advanced trading republic of free citizens.
