To get HDR photography firstly take dslr camera. goto menu in dslr camera then set three exposure bracketing images so you need to have tripod to click image as three shots having overexpose, underexpose and normal exposure. i always shoot Raw format in dslr camera and after clicking images import images in to lightroom to do some changes in exposures then after doing desired changes in photos , import three images. use photomatix pro to blend three images and do neccessary editing then save image then finally open the image into the photoshop and use camera to set color, light and contrast as your need
