In this video, I demonstrate how to design and program a Smart Parking Control System using PLC and HMI.
This system automatically counts vehicles entering and leaving a parking lot and displays the number of available spaces on the HMI screen.
Two LED indicators are used — Green for “Available” and Red for “Full”.
You’ll learn step-by-step how to:
✅ Create the PLC logic for counting cars in and out
✅ Design the HMI interface to display real-time data
✅ Connect sensors and indicators to the PLC
✅ Test and simulate the full control system in TIA Portal
This project is great for:

Industrial automation beginners
Anyone interested in smart city or IoT-style projects
