Power BI's Auto Date Time Feature
Power BI's auto date time feature is very helpful when exploring a dataset for the first time. For each date column, it provides a year / quarter / month hierarchy. I demo how to use auto date time, discuss some of its limitations and suggest why you may want to build your own equivalent capability when creating a more sophisticated Power BI data model.
