In this episode I will walk you through how to get setup for scripting in Space Engineers using an external development environment (Visual Studio Code) with syntax highlighting, autocompletion and inline documentation. We will then proceed to move our Inventory Dashboard script to the external development environment and extend it to also display storage utilization as well as installing it at our ice base.
