ICC Cricket World Cup 1999 - Broadcast Opening Sequence

The seventh edition of the Cricket World Cup was played from 14 May to 20 June 1999, and was hosted primarily by England. It took place just three years after the previous World Cup, deviating from the usual four-year gap.
Featuring 12 teams, tournament had sought the debuts of Bangladesh and Scotland (although Edinburgh was among one of the co-hosts alongside Amstelveen, Netherlands; Cardiff, Wales; and Dublin, Ireland), both of which had qualified to the Cricket World Cup by finishing in the top 3 at the 1997 ICC Trophy in Malaysia.
The tournament was won by Australia, who beat Pakistan by 8 wickets in the final held at Lord's Cricket Ground in London. New Zealand and South Africa were the other semi-finalists.
